Farmer’s Market
The Stoverstown Farmer’s Market was great today. David brought over lots of good early-spring stuff to keep the stand humming along until our produce is ready. Everything sold out! We’re excited to see how the market develops this year and beyond.
Farm Tour
Almost everything is planted. All that remains is a second round of pumpkin planting on June 22nd. It’s a great time of year to see the fields because there are no weeds. All of the neat little rows look so well kept and manicured. There are even some tiny zucchinis hanging on. The weather forecast is HOT and that means early veggies.
Plant, Run, Plant
Planting is going right on schedule. Just another 250 transplants tonight and then a week off. Drip irrigation is such a wonderful invention! Also, I won a 400 meter dash in 54.1 seconds today against a student for an extra credit challenge. Not too old yet…

Tonight Henry learned to bait his own hook. He fished for two hours. Teach a man to fish…
