The grapes should be arriving soon, so I made some effort to get the trellis system started.  It will be six rows of 17 vines each.  Half Concord and half Himrod varieties.  Landscape timbers cost less than half as much as treated 4″ x 4″ posts, so hopefully that will be a good substitution.

We have a tractor trailer load of double grind mulch arriving today.  We plan to use some and sell some until it’s gone.  Come and get it for $25 per yard.

A lot of planning and preparation got done this weekend.  I got a few gardens tilled up for family and friends.  Everything but some sweet corn and irrigation detail is planned out for this coming growing season.  And, the runt pig has decided to start fighting for his food, so I think he’s going to be alright!
